Making their debut on The Brothers label are a mighty fine set of long time purveyors of UK house, Soulfunktion and Diana Waite, who reveal an up-beat, classic house music vibed floor stomper aptly titled ‘House Music Feelin’.  A warm piano hook, laced sexy brass stabs underpinned by a bouncing bass line are the perfect musical compliment to Diana’s feel-good vocal. The package comes with 2 additional mixes:- Dub Mix’ that toys with vocal hooks over a Latin tinged grooved and a ‘Jam and Deep Dub’, which gives a wink to the old school with it’s dirty baseline and a monster breakdown!
SoulFunktion is a collaboration between longstanding London based DJ Wally and the legendary UK House producer Brian “Keys” Tharme. Having first worked together in the 90’s on releases for labels such as Sweat, Narcotic and Catch Records (in which Brian was a partner with Gavin “Face” Mills of Copyright fame), the boys are now back together with their 25 years of experience to bring you their new productions and unique DJ/live gigs. Brian boasts a remix portfolio for big house names including Tuff Jam, En Vogue, Kristina Blonde, Usher, Tina Moore, CeCe Peniston, Juliet Roberts and Craig David to name a few. He has also played keys for the likes of Dave Lee, Bobby & Steve and Booker T. During the same period DJ Wally could be found playing on the London scene, including his residency at the notorious Roller Express rave venue throughout the 90s and more recently The Pirate Club in Wembley as well as presenting a show on From producing sweet deep, soulful and vocal house though to big room anthems, the boys have a plethora od music to release over the coming months along with an increasingly busy DJ schedule.
UK Singer / songwriter Diana Waite has been working in house music since the early 90’s. During this period she was heard singing by legendary production team Soul Central (Andy Ward and Timmy Vegas), and was invited to do several collaborations with them. Since then, Diana has gone on to record with some of the best names in house, including Deep Josh, Andy Ward, Musol, Alfredo Norese Luv City and Distant People with remixes from the likes of Richard Earnshaw, DJ Meme, Dj Le Roi, Doc Link to name a few.
Swiss duo The Brothers are Edoardo Carlucci and Franco Lenti aka DJ Franky Fresh are friends of old. In 2002 they set up a label and hosted parties to keep the house scene alive, running popular house nights for 8 years. In 2010 The Brothers got busy producing their own music, later releasing their debut single,‘Breathless’, in Spring 2011 with Lisa Millet and mixes from Louis Benedetti on Panevino Music. Since then The Brothers have released premier soulful house cuts on their own label of the same name including artists such as Bobby D’Ambrosio, Meisha Moore, Franky Fresh featuring the late Jim C, Jam P, Billie Brown and Nuutube feat.
