Kicking off 2012 with a fresh bag of sounds, the next in the Knee Deep Remixed singles series is the sexy dancefloor smash ‘All Nite’ which gets a full on maker-over from top UK DJ/ Producer Aaron Ross. Armed with delicious beats and a sublime dramatic basslines, Aaron chops the vocal and adds in some surprises of his own turing out 2 distinctively different quirky dancefloor bombs! Also on the package Edi Carlucci, 1 half of the Brothers, turns out a hot funky 80’s tinged house workout hooked together with some dynamite breakdowns!

The Brothers label unleash a brand new project which sees top German house production duo Knee Deep get a complete overhaul of their fantastic back catalogue – a transformation into a brand new selection of singles which will later be released as a full compilation. Each song will be remixed by a well known artist in the house music scene including the likes of Bobby D’Ambrosio, Louis Benedetti, Aaron Ross and The Brothers themselves among others.

Knee Deep aka Basti Döhring and Toddie Freese, met in Hamburg’s club scene. Their first release in 1998: D’Influence ‘Rock With You’ was an instant international success. Soon big names including David Morales, Bob Sinclair, Everything But The Girl, Blaze, Rhianna, Basement Jaxx, Kerri Chandler and Jamiroquai requested remixes or production work from the duo. This also included Afro Medusa’s ‘Pasilda’, the huge Summer anthem of 2000. Since then they have gone on to produce, remix an incredible selection of dancefloor favourites working alongside artists such as Rasmus Faber, Sharlene Hector, Jamie Lewis, Timmy Vegas, Kenny Bobien, Brooke Russell and many more. These releases appeared on their own labels KneeDeep Recordings (Est. 2003) and KneeDeep u.s.a (Est. 2005). Basti & Toddie have an extensive travel schedule performing all over the world including, Switzerland or Spain, Belgium, France, Hamburg, London, Ibiza and Miami. In recent times Basti has enjoyed huge solo success with his ‘Lovebirds’ recording monika, releasing a host of fantastic singles including the current smash ‘I Want You In My Soul’.

Swiss duo The Brothers are Edoardo Carlucci and Franco Lenti aka DJ Franky Fresh and have known each other since they were 6 years old. In 2002 they decided to set up a label and host parties to keep the house scene alive in response to the arrival of Electro that was dominating clubs, they ran the popular house nights for 8 years. In 2010 house music arrived back in favour and The Brothers got busy producing their own music. They released their debut single,‘Breathless’, in Spring 2011 with vocalist Lisa Millet and mixes from Louis Benedetti Panevino Music. Since then The Brothers have released premier soulful house cuts on their own label of the same name including artists such as Franky Fresh, The Brothers feat. Jim C, Jam P and Nuutube feat. Melissa Lischer. Aside of their own releases Edoardo also provides all the remixes under ‘The Brothers’ monika, having already carved out some dancefloor masterpieces on the Knee Deep Remixed series.

Aaron Ross released his first track under the guise of Rain People on Osiris music in 2003 and was quickly followed with a string of solid productions under the alias Fanatix alongside Neil Pierce. Aaron became a mainstay on the international clubscene performing at Shindig, Defected in the House, Soul Heaven (resident DJ), Club Air in Japan, Pacha Ibiza and Southport Weekender among many! In 2002 he started hosting his own radio show on BBC 1Xtra which ran for 5 years before he moved on to produce Defected’s In The House radio show in 2008 which he still does today. Aaron holds an extensive list of productions and an in demand remixer for artists including Jamiroquai, Blaze, Ultra Nate, KOT, Dennis Ferrer and Estelle, and has produced records with Ursula Rucker, Natasha Watts, Sterling Ensemble, and Matthew Bandy and many more. In 2008 he released a full length LP on BBE Records under the Fanatix alias along with other projects including restless soul EP’s with Phil Asher and ‘Time To Shine’ (Nervous Records) ‘Showtime’ (Recovery House) and ‘Westbourne Park’ Dubs EP’ for Kerri Chandlers Max Trax label among others.
